Freezing temps

When the weather is below normal and get into the negative number depending on how long we are that cold for can cause disaster on homes. During these cold spells pipe can freeze causing the water to swell up in the pipe causing it to break open. Once the water is thawed the water will begin to project water out until or unless the water is shut off. 

These photos show exactly that. During the harsh winter there was a pipe that froze. As the temperature warmed the water started to run and caused damage throughout. SERVPRO was able to dry down everything once the carpet was removed.
